Meeting called to order.
1st Order of Business:
- Allen mentioned that Charles Cromwell had called to notify him that construction had commenced on the Sanders North Subdivision.- The Board approved the minutes of the previous meeting.
2nd Order of Business:
- Anthony Keefe and representative, Dan Colby, were present regarding the proposed Nequasset Shores Subdivision on Route 127. The additional items requested by the Board at the previous meeting were submitted.- The Board discussed whether to accept the application as complete. Gregg moved to accept that it was, Jason seconded the motion and the Board voted unanimously in favor.
- A public hearing was scheduled for March 27th at 7:30 p.m.
3rd Order of Business:
- Ed LaFlamme and Rob Graham were present regarding a proposed expansion of Woolwich Self Storage, located in the Woolwich Industrial Park. The proposal is for the addition of five new buildings, which would be 3,300 sq. ft. each.- The Board felt that the Site Plan Review Ordinance applies to this situation. Mr. LaFlamme and Mr. Graham indicated that they would return to the March 27th Planning Board meeting with a Site Plan application.
4th Order of Business:
- Allen mentioned that the Selectmen have asked the Board to review the existing Sign Ordinance at some point in the near future. The Board agreed that conducting several workshops would be the most beneficial way to proceed. The first workshop was scheduled for March 14th at 5:30 p.m. at the Town Office.- Also, the Board needs to determine how to implement inspections of all projects that fall under the Site Plan Review Ordinance and how compliance should be enforced.
