2nd Order of Business:
- Charles Cromwell was present regarding the proposed 9 lot Sanders North Subdivision. He is attempting to obtain an easement abolishment from Verizon. He is also in the process of researching the following water supply options for the proposed development:a) He has contacted Harry C. Crooker & Sons, Inc. to obtain an estimate for providing public water to the proposed subdivision.b) He has contacted Jacques Whitford Company about obtaining a hydro geological study. He received back a 5 page proposal of various studies that can be performed ranging in price from $12,000 to $40,000.
c) He's inquiring about the possibility of installing drilled wells and performing water quality tests on each one.
d) He's also considering testing all the existing wells located on the road for water quality.
- Buzz and Gregg voiced that they would prefer to see public water provided. Allen is not only concerned with water quality, but also that there will be a sufficient amount of water for all of the proposed lots.
- Bill mentioned that perhaps Mr. Cromwell should find out how the vehicles at Geroux's Auto Graveyard were prepared for storage (were all fluids removed, etc.).
- Clark commented that public water supply would be a good back up if drilled wells went poor in the future.
- Mr. Cromwell will keep researching his options and return to the October meeting.
