The Selectmen cautioned Wayne that such efforts, while commendable, might not be covered by Workers Compensation and should be avoided except in extraordinary circumstances. There have been 135 calls to date &endash; the same as last year at this time. Wayne expressed some concern over the pile of snow that the contractor left in front of the fire station doors. No responses were received from the special assistance application contained in last year's Town Report. Dan and Crispin may appear on Channel 12 to promote a greater response. The Fire Chief and WEMA Director requested a workshop with the Selectmen to discuss their budget needs for the upcoming fiscal year.
