ATTENDANCE: Crispin Connery, David King, Richard Snell and Rita Sturtevant
AMENDMENTS TO MUNICIPAL BUDGET: Motion by Rick, seconded by Rita, to amend the municipal warrant approved on March 29, 1999 by increasing the amount for the Bath Ambulance from $10,717.00 to $15,000.00 (Art. 23 a)), by adding a subparagraph to Art. 25 to provide funds from Undesignated Fund Balance (surplus) in an amount up to $28,382.36 for the use of the Wiscasset Transfer Station from January 1, 1999 to March 31, 1999 (this is in addition to the balance of $16,524.00 currently in the Transfer Station Account), to add $700.00 to Art. 34 for the Bath Area Senior Citizens Center and to approve and post the attached amended budget. Passed unanimously.
OTHER BUSINESS: The Selectmen will contact Pine Tree Waste to see if they would support a one day town clean up. Lloyd will contact the Woolwich Parent Teachers Club to see if they would want to provide a redeemable bottle drop off container near the Pine Tree Waste recyclable bins. Rick reported that the intersection of the Walker and Mountain Roads was a dangerous site. He will contact Jack Shaw to discuss safety alternatives.
