Pine Tree Waste, Inc. has been awarded a three year contract beginning July 1, 2005 to provide weekly, town roadside pickup of residential non-hazardous household refuse. The schedule is as follows:

• Tuesdays - All of Route 127 and all roads to its east bordered by the Dresden, Wiscasset and Route 1 lines plus the Carlton Point Road and the Sam Moore Road.
• Wednesdays - All of Route 1 and all roads to its south plus the Sagadahoc Ferry plus all roads west of Route 127 excluding the Carlton Point Road and the Sam Moore Road.

If a holiday should fall on a Tuesday or Wednesday your trash will be collected curbside the next day.

Collection times are always subject to change, so please always have your trash out by 7:00 a.m.

If you find that your trash was not picked up, please call Pine Tree Waste, Inc. at 443-3217.

Recyclable drop off service is available at the Municipal Building seven days a week. For a list of the recyclable material click on the Recycling Program icon.

Batteries and clean, used motor oil will be accepted at Jack A. Shaw & Sons, Inc., 911 Old Stage Road, Woolwich, during regular business hours, provided that advance notification is given by calling 443-3932.
